Girls' and Boys' Basketball (Grades 5-6)

Boys and Girls basketball is offered to 5th and 6th graders during the winter months. Teams are formed and practice is held weekly. The season ends with a tournament of teams from all of the Mukwonago Elementary Schools. Good sportsmanship, cooperation, and fair play are highlighted.
 

Art Club

Students explore various artistic mediums such as painting, drawing, and sculpture under the guidance of a skilled instructor. They engage in creative projects that encourage imaginative expression and skill development, fostering a supportive environment where they can unleash their artistic potential. Additionally, students collaborate with peers, sharing ideas and techniques, while gaining confidence in their artistic abilities.
 

Science Club

Students delve into hands-on experiments and investigations that ignite curiosity and critical thinking. They explore diverse scientific concepts through interactive activities, demonstrations, and discussions led by enthusiastic educators. Through these engaging sessions, students develop a deeper understanding of the natural world while honing their problem-solving skills in a fun and educational environment.
 

Girl Scouts

Students participate in a variety of activities aimed at building leadership skills and fostering camaraderie among peers. They engage in community service projects, earn badges through skill-building activities, and learn about important values like teamwork and empathy. Guided by adult leaders, the club provides a supportive space for girls to grow personally and socially while making a positive impact in their community.
 

Ski Club

Children are offered a chance to learn a lifelong sport at nearby Alpine Valley. The Learn to Ski program provides one free lesson with additional lessons available at a reasonable fee. The club meets on six or more dates at the hill.
 

Track and Field Day

Students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade have the chance to participate in the district-wide Track and Field Day in May. Children from the entire Mukwonago area learn and try the basics of track & field events.
